Privacy policy

Airakle shows public creator profiles on a map. We collect as little as we can, we never store your exact location or address, and you can ask us to change or remove a profile at any time.

When someone adds a pin we store the name, social handles, city, niche, follower range, whether they are open to collabs, an optional photo, and up to three links to their content. All of this is shown publicly. That is the point of the map.

Pins are placed at city level only, at a spot near the city centre chosen by us. We don't ask for or store an address.

Some profiles of well-known creators were added by Airakle from public, openly licensed sources, listed on the map data page. If one is yours, you can ask us to correct or remove it.

When a profile is opened we record that it was viewed, so we can later show which creators are being discovered. To count a visitor only once a day, we turn their IP address and browser type into a scrambled code that changes every day. We don't store the IP address itself, and the code can't be turned back into one.

When a pin is added we keep a similar scrambled code for that day, only to limit how many pins one person can add.

We don't use advertising trackers or sell data.

We use a few small cookies to remember your choices: light or dark theme, whether you have seen the introduction, and whether the side panel is collapsed. Your recent searches are kept in your own browser and never sent to us. If you sign in, a cookie keeps you signed in.

You don't need an account to browse or to add a pin. Signing in is done with Google: we receive your email address and use it only to recognise your account. We never see or store a password. If you save a business, mark one you have worked with or report one, we keep that against your account. A business's contact details are shown to signed-in accounts only, and we keep a record of which businesses an account has opened them for, so that we can limit bulk copying.

The site and its database are run on hosting services that process data for us. The map itself is loaded from a separate map provider, which sees the request your browser makes, as with any website.

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete a profile about you. To do that, use [email protected].

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
