Love the guests and the depth, but Lex really needs to work on his interview skills—he interrupts constantly and doesn't listen. Also barely transparent about his sponsorships and it's weird how much he pivots to spiritual stuff without acknowledging he's not qualified there.
I respect that Lex actually cares about the technical side and does deep dives into AI research. But the whole 'I'm just a curious mind' thing feels performative when you're clearly trying to build a massive platform. Also his political commentary isn't that nuanced despite how much airtime he gives to it.
Lex's podcast is genuinely well-produced and he does his homework on guests, but he asks the same philosophical questions to literally everyone and it gets repetitive fast. The long-form format is good but sometimes he lets bad-faith guests ramble unchallenged, which feels like he's afraid to push back.
